Xposure 2018 Video

See the Xposure students and staff in action during the summer workshop at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky. as they produce stories, photos and videos during the 9-day session. This video aims to show how 12 students come as strangers and leave with skills that they can use for the rest of their careers. This was the 35th year of the workshop. I directed, filmed, and edited this video. Some photos featured were the student's work from the week.

This video won a $5,000 grant from the WKU Sisterhood.

WKU 2020 Housing Guide

On this episode of WKU Apartment Hunters, Walk2Campus leasing coordinator Lacey shows Hayley around their various student living options near the WKU campus. Walk2Campus WKU is known for its many apartment and housing options that are one to two blocks from campus. This is one video of a four part series that was included in the 2020 Housing Guide. It was shared on the WKU Herald website and various social media accounts. I worked on a two- person team to shoot content, audio gather, and edit this series.

Louisville freshman Julia Fry believes it is important to have a cozy space to return to every day to decompress. Fry has made many of the decorations in her dorm room in Gilbert Hall including her lamp shade, closet curtain, wall-decor and many little plant pots. “I did a large National Park puzzle, glued it together and attached it to the wall over my desk,” Fry said. “Although the dorm life may seem dreadful, putting up some string lights, a colorful tapestry, personalized posters and paintings instantly give such a small room a more homey feel.” (Photo by Hayley Watson/Cherry Creative)
