Watching the 4 o'clock evening news on WDRB and the 5 o'clock news on WLKY as soon as Hayley Watson got off the school bus every day began as a way to stay informed and watch funny commercials until her mom returned home from work, but as she grew older it's how she began to feel connected to her community. The news is where Hayley was first introduced to the power of storytelling. She saw that photography, audio, and video could all work together to tell a whole story. After participating in a high school journalism workshop during her final year of high school, Hayley was introduced to the world of photojournalism. As a recent graduate from Western Kentucky University, Hayley has found her calling: to use storytelling to live along side her community and to identify stories that can magnify a client's message.

Hayley is a multimedia storyteller who specializes in the craft of video. After earning a Bachelor's degree from Western Kentucky she has made it her life's mission to make storytelling a continuous thread throughout her communications career.

As a Louisville, Kentucky native Hayley has a love for the local arts, food, and music scene. Her favorite thing to do on the weekends is to try local restaurants with her family.

Like many in the South, she loves (really sweet) sweet tea, sitting on the porch talking to her neighbors, and playing with man's best friend - her dog Jeter.

"It's important to be human first, photographer second." - Deanne Fitzmaurice
